The universal law of cause and effect states that for every effect there is a definite cause, likewise for every cause, there is a definite effect. Your thoughts, behaviors, and actions create specific effects that manifest and create your life as you know it.
This is the immutable universal law, which means that it will always work and cannot be changed. You can only try to use it to your advantage. Now when you know what the Law of Cause and Effect means, we can check how it works.
What Can Trigger the Law Of Cause And Effect
This law can be triggered by anything, starting from thoughts and ending on your body reactions, e.g. coughing vomiting. Let’s see how thoughts can cause positive or negative effects:

For example, if you are constantly afraid of breaking a leg, eventually you will have an accident and it will happen. This will be the effect of your past thinking.
Let me give you a more positive example now. Suppose that you want to see someone and are thinking of him or her. Suddenly your phone rings and this person want to talk to you and later… meet. However, the same rule will apply when you think that the other person
In other words, your deeds, which is obvious and the effect can be even punitive legally. Just think what will happen when you do not observe stopping at the red light, just because there are no cars. You may avoid a fine this time, but the next time, in a similar situation, either someone will do the same against you which may even end with an accident or the police will find you for other conviction.
I need to stress the importance of positive thinking here again. Your behaviour is the result of your thinking. And the way people perceive you will also be defined by your thinking. For example, if you consider yourself as worthless, your body language will show it and people will treat you this way.
Beliefs are the roots of our thoughts. In case of negative beliefs, they are like the most solid roots (i.e. rhizomes) of a nettle (although nettle can be good for a tea and can be used as a cure.) Therefore, sometimes you need to do a thorough ploughing and destroying of all your beliefs system to start attracting happiness to your life.
It is proved that by just changing one word can change your life and make you happier. For example, if you substitute “should” with “could”, you will be less stressed out. It is also possible to diminish negative emotions, saying “I’m irritated” instead of “I’m exasperated/furious etc.”
How To Use This Law To My Advantage?
The Law of Cause And Effect assumes that all that you have, experience, do and think now is the result of your past thoughts, words and actions and beliefs. Hence if you are not happy with the effects you have created, then you must change the causes that created them in the first place
Determine the Cause And Effect Relationships
Identify the specific things you will need to do in order to get the results that you want. You need to understand yourself and how you work as a person. You also need a good knowledge of your belief systems. List your current results in each area of your life in a diary. Look at the results that bring you unhappiness. What could be their causes?
Take Massive Action
Firstly, make the decision to focus on, and do, the things that other happy people have done. Secondly, model someone who is happy in a given area of life. Look at your list now. Who could be successful, happy and fulfilled in the areas you are struggling? Find these people. Then learn how they have achieved success and follow their recipe.
Sometimes taking “action” just means believing that you can do whatever your heart desires! Then you manifest it by saying all around what you want to be, e.g. a millionaire, a spiritual coach etc. However, always remember that your goal needs to be aligned with your soul plan and promote the values of the Light.
If you take action and do the things that others have done, eventually you will end up with the same results – the positive or the negative ones, depending on the people which you model. We want happiness, right. Then model positive people. However, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” It is going to take some time to change your current situation.
The brutal truth is, that it has taken you a lifetime to get into the position in which you now find yourself. Therefore, it will be going to take some time to get out of it.
The good news is, it will not take a lifetime to change your situation, but it will take “some” time. And the more challenging is the process of changing your life, the bigger the reward.
Never give up! Stay focused, find out your causes to ensure you are doing the right things and tweak your approach if necessary.
